I watched the Bao Bei Team on the Great Food Truck Race and always thought they were one of the best teams to ever be on there. I got the opportunity to try their food and meet them in their ghost kitchen when I was in town for a conference and I would recommend it to everyone, these guys are gonna go far!

My friend and I tried here for the first time. I got the Bao Bei bao and she got the Bao Bei bowl. Both were super good and had great flavor. The bun was so fluffy and soft, and the pork belly was so delicious. We are definitely going to come back and try more!

Very unassuming take out kitchen with amazing food! My kids met the Great Food Truck Race star Kevin the chef! Bao buns are huge it was so tasty and a great value. The sticky buns are amazing as is the bao with melt in your mouth pork belly. They have veggie versions of everything too

Just had my first experience at Bao Bei, and the food is so freaking good. I’m about 40 minutes out but I will make the drive again, and again. The pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender and flavorful, the salads are crisp and refreshing. I can tell the people who made this food poured their heart into this. Spread the word, spread the love, they really deserve it! (No pictures of food because I was too focused on eating.)

Incredible food and service from Bao Bei and Kevin. They lived up to and exceeded my expectations. I could have eaten 3 of the Baos, they are that good. The pork bowl is such a great mix of flavors with the rice complimenting each, and would highly recommend as well. The pumpkin cinnabaos were the perfect finish. A unique twist on the traditional cinnamon roll and as big as they are I don’t think you would want to share. Seems hard to go wrong with your order here. Their success is no surprise and can’t wait for their restaurant to open in the near future!

Take out only! Great food. Great staff. You can order ahead of time or they'll take care of you when you arrive. Since it is not a restaurant I ate in my car. Delicious.

This place is hidden gem!!! People in Rockville, Maryland is so lucky to have this place. I stumbled upon Bao Bei and I’m so glad I did! Everything on the menu is amazing. The Bao Bei Bao is one of my favorite on the menu. The pork belly will melt in your mouth. Very juicy and tender. If you are super hungry. You should try the Bao Bei Bowl and pair with brown sugar swirly buns on the side. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Whether you’re a bao enthusiast or just looking for something new to try, Bao Bei is a must-visit when you are in Rockville, Maryland.

Is it hard to find? Yes, if you don't know where you're going. Does it look kind of sketchy? Just a bit. Is it worth it? Totally! If you're driving down Parklawn, look for the RnJ running store and go around back to the big parking lot with all the cyber trucks, I mean dumpsters, but it's not sketchy. We tried pork belly and tofu and they were excellent.
